Lauren Obersteadt

Lauren Obersteadt currently serves as Executive Director of Alumni Relations for Vanderbilt University. In this role, she leads engagement strategies and program development to connect alumni and students with each other and the university in meaningful ways. Lauren earned a BA in English from Vanderbilt and joined her alma mater after posts in music journalism, marketing and Film/TV production. When not working, you can find Lauren exploring, scuba diving, or (most likely) somewhere in her yard.

Sarah Whitney Anderson

Sarah Whitney Anderson is an Assistant Director for Alumni-Student Engagement at Vanderbilt University. In this role she manages the alumni career programs and coordinates opportunities for students and alumni to network with one another. Sarah Whitney received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Education from Clemson University. In 2017 and 2018 while at Clemson, Sarah Whitney worked in the #1 Career Center helping students find their career path. Sarah Whitney’s passion for student affairs leads her to help students and alumni pursue their professional goals by connecting them to the resources they need to achieve success.
